ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists can expect single-lane traffic on Highway 3 between Faribault and Northfield beginning Monday, May 6, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The closures are necessary as crews resurface the road and make pedestrian accessibility improvements.
Flaggers will control traffic throughout the project, which is scheduled to continue through late June, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
