Pedestrian accessibility improvements in Houston begin May 20
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Pedestrians and motorists can expect sidewalk and intermittent shoulder closures as crews begin pedestrian accessibility improvements on Highway 16 in Houston Monday, May 20.
TI-Zack Concrete Inc., is the prime contractor for the $291,333 project, which also includes pedestrian accessibility on Highway 57 in Wanamingo.
This pedestrian accessibility project is scheduled to be completed by late June, weather permitting.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
