Orange barrels on a highway

Highway 14 near Eyota to close for railroad work Aug. 20 

ROCHESTER, Minn.— Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 14 near Eyota beginning Tuesday, Aug. 20, as Canadian Pacific Railroad and MnDOT crews remove a railroad grade crossing.
                                                      
Removal of the crossing is expected to be completed Friday, Aug. 23, weather permitting.
                                                          
Detour:
Olmsted County Road 11, Olmsted County Road 9 and Highway 42.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
