Albert Lea Travel Information Center opens
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Albert Lea Travel Information Center, located on Interstate 35 just north of the Iowa border is now open.
The Travel Information Center was closed as crews conducted pipe repairs.
Rest areas and travel information centers contribute to the safety of the traveling public by providing fatigued drivers the ability to stop and rest. They also reduce the need for stops along highway shoulders and provide an escape from driving under hazardous weather and road conditions.
