Albert Lea Travel Information Center closed Jan. 7
ROCHESTER, Minn. –The Albert Lea Travel Information Center, located on Interstate 35 just north of the Iowa border is closed.
The closure is necessary as crews conduct pipe repairs. Motorists will be able to continue to use the parking lot during the closure.
Rest areas and travel information centers contribute to the safety of the traveling public by providing fatigued drivers the ability to stop and rest. They also reduce the need for stops along highway shoulders and provide an escape from driving under hazardous weather and road conditions.
