Ramp closure in Albert Lea begins Sept. 17
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a ramp closure from westbound Interstate 90 to northbound Interstate 35, beginning Monday, Sept. 17, as crews resurface the ramp.
Motorists will be detoured during the closure, expected to last through Thursday, Sept. 20, weather permitting.
Detour:
Go north on I-35, east on I-90, exit at Freeborn County Road 26, and then west on I-90.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
