Highway 61 bridge construction in Wabasha County begins April 23
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect single-lane traffic in both directions on Highway 61 at East Indian Creek near Weaver beginning Monday, April 23, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The bridge project on northbound Highway 61 includes replacing the bridge deck and guardrail.
Minnowa Construction, Inc, is the prime contractor for this $1,288,962 construction project, expected to be complete in late August.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
