Highway 52 intersection closure at Pine Island occurs July 16
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a closure at the Highway 52 and north Pine Island intersection beginning Monday, July 16, as crews continue concrete repair work.
Motorists in Pine Island should use the Goodhue County Road 11 interchange to access
Highway 52. This work will not affect Highway 52 traffic.
The closure will remain in place through Wednesday, July 18, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
Interstate Improvement Inc. is the prime contractor for the $4.4 million project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
