Lane restrictions on Highway 43 Mississippi River bridge in Winona begins July 14
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Highway 43 over the Mississippi River in Winona will encounter temporary lane closures and delays beginning Saturday, July 14, as crews seal cracks along the bridge.
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane and controlled by flaggers.
The lane closure will remain in effect through Sunday, July 15, weather permitting.
Sealing cracks is a routine function for maintaining the Highway 43 Winona Bridge.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
