Highway 43 bridge replacement in Fillmore County begins April 16
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Highway 43 will close from Bratsberg to Fillmore County Road 12 beginning Monday, April 16, as crews begin a bridge replacement project near Choice.
Motorists will detour on Fillmore County Road 37, Fillmore County Road 10, Fillmore County Road 23 and Fillmore County Road 12.
The new bridge will be wider, longer and include new guardrail. The project is expected to be complete mid-July, weather permitting.
Minnowa Construction Inc. is the prime contractor for the $1 million project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
