Steele County Road 45 bridge damaged near Owatonna

 

ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Steele County Road 45 bridge over Highway 14 near Owatonna was hit by a semi-truck hauling equipment on Friday, Dec. 14.
                                        

The bridge sustained some cosmetic damage. MnDOT crews have sealed up the exposed cables for the winter, and will come back in the spring to finish the repair work.
                                                          

The semi driver left the scene of the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol is asking anyone with information about the bridge hit to contact Sergeant Jim Boley at 507.285.7406.
