Highway 14 construction in Olmsted and Dodge counties begins May 14
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect lane closures on Highway 14 in Olmsted and Dodge counties between Byron and Kasson beginning Monday, May 14, when crews begin concrete repair work.
The project includes concrete pavement repair work on the eastbound and westbound lanes, and resurfacing of the shoulders.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
C.P.R. Inc, is the prime contractor for the $2.6 million project. This project was delayed due to the state government shutdown.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
