Eastbound I-90 from Highway 43 to Highway 76 opens to traffic
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can now drive on all lanes of Interstate 90 from Highway 43 south/Rushford exit to Highway 76/Houston exit, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
I-90 had been reduced to single-lane traffic in both directions and the eastbound exit and entrance ramps at Highway 43 north/Winona exit were closed while crews resurfaced the eastbound lanes and ramps.
The completed project provides motorists with a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this 14-week project.
The concrete resurfacing project began on May 25. P.C.I Roads was the prime contractor for the construction project.
