I-90 in Olmsted County opens to traffic
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists can now drive on all lanes of westbound Interstate 90 from Highway 63 to Marion, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Westbound I-90 had been reduced to one lane while crews resurfaced the westbound lanes.
The completed project provides motorists with a smoother ride surface and a safer highway with new guardrail.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this seven-week project.
The resurfacing project began Aug. 8. Rochester Sand & Gravel was the prime contractor for the construction project.
