Eastbound I-90 construction from Highway 43 to Highway 76 begins May 25
I-90 ramp closure also in effect
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists can expect single-lane traffic in both directions on Interstate 90 from the Highway 43 South/Rushford exit to the Highway 76/Houston exit beginning Wednesday, May 25.
The construction project on I-90 includes concrete resurfacing on the eastbound lanes and ramps.
The eastbound I-90 exit and entrance ramps at the Highway 43 North/Winona exit remain closed. Motorists should follow the posted detour. The detour route is Winona County Road 12.
PCI Roads, LLC., is the prime contractor for the construction project. When the project is complete, motorists will experience a much smoother ride surface.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
