I-35/I-90 intersection lighting installation begins Sept. 13
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists may experience brief lane closures with flaggers at the Interstate 35/Interstate 90 intersection in Freeborn County beginning Sept. 13, as crews set poles and install lighting.
All installation is scheduled to be completed by the end of September, weather permitting.
The upgraded intersection lighting will improve safety at the I-35/I-90 intersection.
Mankato Electric, Inc. is the prime contractor for the project.
Mn/DOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
