Work resumes on Highway 63 in Stewartville
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Work resumed on the intersection safety improvement project at Highway 63 and Sixth Street in Stewartville.
The project was temporarily suspended during a 20-day state government shutdown. It is now expected to be complete at the end of August.
Work includes grading, resurfacing and installing a new traffic signal and intersection lighting.
Elcor Construction Inc. is the prime contractor for the project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
