Highway 63 resurfacing in Wabasha County postponed to 2012
ROCHESTER, Minn. —The Highway 63 resurfacing project between Wabasha County Road 78 and Lake City is postponed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The project was originally scheduled to begin Sept. 12 and will now begin in early May 2012. The delay is due to the 20-day state government shutdown.
Rochester Sand and Gravel, a division of Mathy Construction, is the prime contractor for the project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
