Work resumes on Highway 61 in Lake City
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Work on the Highway 61 bridge replacement project over Gilbert Creek in Lake City resumes Tuesday, July 26.
The project was temporarily suspended during a 20-day state government shutdown.
The new bridge will be wider and include a pedestrian bridge.
Minnowa Construction Inc. is the prime contractor for the $3.5 million project.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
