Lane restrictions on Highway 61 in Winona begin Oct. 12
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists traveling on southbound Highway 61 through Winona will encounter temporary lane closures at the Highway 61/Highway 43 intersection beginning Wednesday, Oct. 12.
The closures are necessary while crews conduct bridge painting.
The bridge painting is expected to be completed in late October, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
