Water main break closes section of westbound Highway 60 in Faribault
ROCHESTER, Minn. – (9:20 a.m.) A section of westbound Highway 60 in Faribault is closed, as crews repair a water main break that occurred overnight, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Detour:
Traveling westbound on Highway 60, go north on Shumway Avenue, west on Ravine Street and then back to Highway 60.
City of Faribault crews expect to open westbound Highway 60 by late Wednesday afternoon or sometime Thursday once repairs are complete.
Eastbound Highway 60 traffic through Faribault is not affected.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
