Highway 52 median cable guardrail installation in Olmsted County begins Sept. 6
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will experience lane closures on southbound Highway 52 between Olmsted County Road 14 and Olmsted County Road 12 in the Oronoco area beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The closure is necessary while crews install median cable guardrail along Highway 52.
The median cable guardrail will help prevent head-on collisions, making Highway 52 safer.
H&R Construction Company is the prime contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed in early October.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
