West frontage road along Highway 52 in Oronoco opens to traffic
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Oronoco west frontage road from Olmsted County Road 12 to
12th Street Southwest is now open to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work on the Oronoco west frontage road began April 18 and is part of the Elk Run Interchange project on Highway 52 in Olmsted County.
Construction of the interchange began in May with work anticipated to continue through November 2012. Shafer Contracting Co., Inc. is the prime contractor for this $34.3 million project.
