Lane restriction on Highway 43 Mississippi River bridge in Winona begins Aug. 24
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists traveling on Highway 43 over the Mississippi River in Winona will encounter single-lane traffic on the bridge beginning Wednesday, Aug. 24.
The closure is necessary while crews gather samples as part of the bridge rehabilitation study.
The lane closure will remain in effect through Thursday, Aug. 25, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
