Highway 30 in Waseca and Steele counties opens to traffic
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists can now drive on all lanes of Highway 30 between Highway 13 and Ellendale, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Highway 30 had been reduced to one lane and controlled by flaggers while crews resurfaced the highway.
The completed project provides motorists with a smoother ride surface and a safer highway with new guardrail.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during the six-week project.
Crane Creek Asphalt, a division of Mathy Construction, was the prime contractor for the $2.5 million project.
