Highway 61 lane closure near Lake City begins April 29
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect single-lane traffic on Highway 61 near Lake City when crews begin culvert repairs Thursday, April 29, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Flaggers will control traffic during the repairs, which are scheduled to be completed by May 9, weather permitting.
The culvert repairs are needed due to flood damage experienced during the September 2010 flood.
Mn/DOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
