MnDOT installs new pedestrian ramps on Highway 13 in Albert Lea
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists and pedestrians will experience minimal traffic and sidewalk delays along Highway 13 in Albert Lea as crews replace several pedestrian ramps on various street corners, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work begins Tuesday, Sept. 7, and is expected to take approximately four weeks, weather permitting.
These new ramps are a part of MnDOT’s efforts to improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing state highways.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
