Ted Foss Move Over Law – Memorial & Enforcement Saturation
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota Department of Transportation will host a news conference to honor the memory of Trooper Ted Foss on the 10-year anniversary of his death in the line of duty through enforcement and education efforts.
Motorists are reminded of the life-saving importance of the Ted Foss Move Over Law.

The Ted Foss Move Over law enforcement effort is a component of the state’s core traffic safety initiative, Toward Zero Deaths (TZD). TZD focuses on the application of four strategic areas to reduce crashes — education, enforcement, engineering and emergency trauma response. The goal of the program is 400 or fewer deaths by the end of 2010.
