Northbound Interstate 35 repairs near the Dundas interchange begin Aug. 23
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists may encounter slight delays on northbound Interstate 35 near the Dundas interchange (Rice County Road 1) beginning Monday, Aug. 23, as crews repair two buckled concrete panels, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews will close the right lane on northbound I-35 Aug. 23-27 and then close the left lane Aug. 30-Sept. 3. In the event of inclement weather project completion may be delayed.
Removing the buckled pavement and pouring new concrete will provide a smoother road surface for motorists.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
