Eastbound Interstate 90 construction from Highway 43 to Highway 74 complete
All I-90 ramps open
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists can now drive on all lanes of Interstate 90 from Highway 43 south (Rushford exit) to Highway 74 (St. Charles exit), according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
I-90 had been reduced to single-lane traffic in both directions and the eastbound exit and entrance ramps at Winona County Road 29 (Lewiston exit) and Highway 43 south (Rushford exit) were closed while crews resurfaced the eastbound lanes and ramps.
The Enterprise Rest Area is also now open.
The completed project provides motorists with a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
MnDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this 16-week project.
The concrete resurfacing project began on May 3. P.C.I Roads was the prime contractor for the $15,327,582 construction project.
