Highway 13 construction in Freeborn County begins Aug. 16
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect single-lane traffic on Highway 13 between Interstate 90 and Highway 30 when crews begin resurfacing the road on Monday, Aug. 16, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Flaggers will control traffic throughout the project, which is scheduled to continue through October, weather permitting.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
Ulland Brothers, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $4 million project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
