Expect intermittent delays on Interstate 90 July 12
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists can expect delays Monday, July 12, when Interstate 90 near Dresbach closes intermittently while crews work on the new Dresbach bridge deck, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Beginning at 9 a.m., lanes in both directions will close for up to 15 minutes, the closures will be in effect until 3 p.m., weather permitting.
The work is part of the $4.4 million I-90 bridge replacement project that began in early June 2009. The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2010, weather permitting. Lunda Construction Co. is the prime contractor.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
