Westbound Interstate 90 construction in Mower County begins July 12
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists can expect single-lane traffic on westbound Interstate 90 from Mower County Road 19 to Highway 16 when crews begin concrete repair work on Monday, July 12, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The project includes concrete pavement repair work on the westbound lanes and resurfacing of the shoulders and all westbound and eastbound ramps within the project limits.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
Interstate Improvement, Inc., is the prime contractor for the $2,102,638 construction project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
