Public open house for Highway 248 resurfacing project near Altura set for July 14
ROCHESTER, Minn. — The public is invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, July 14, to discuss the Highway 248 resurfacing project from Altura to Highway 61. The open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Altura City Hall and Community Center, 25 North Main.
Minnesota Department of Transportation staff will be available to answer questions about construction impacts, the schedule and detour routes. The project is scheduled for construction in summer 2011 and once it is finished motorists will experience a smoother and safer ride.
