Interstate 90 construction from Alden to Highway 13 begins June 22
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will experience intermittent lane closures on both eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 from Alden to Highway 13 beginning June 22, as crews complete finishing and clean-up work from last year’s construction project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The work should take about one week, weather permitting.
This I-90 resurfacing project went late into the 2009 construction season and winter weather caused some of the finishing and clean-up work to be delayed until this year.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
