MnDOT to install new pedestrian ramps on Highway 43 in Winona
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists and pedestrians will experience minimal traffic and sidewalk delays along Highway 43 in Winona as crews replace approximately 60 pedestrian ramps on various street corners, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work will begin Tuesday, June 22, and is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
These new ramps are a part of MnDOT’s efforts to improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing state highways.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
