Northbound Highway 52 will be single lane near Civic Center Drive in Rochester on Saturday, June 19
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Crews will reduce northbound Highway 52 in the area to a single lane on Saturday, June 19, when they conduct warranty work to resurface two bridges near Civic Center Drive, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Single lane traffic will be in effect between 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday. Motorists traveling on northbound Highway 52 should expect delays and use alternate routes.
Due to rain delays, the week-long warranty work originally scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 16, will now take place June 17-24, weather permitting. This work will reduce northbound Highway 52 to two lanes in the area and close the ramp to Highway 14 West/Civic Center Drive for the duration of the project.
The bridge resurfacing will improve the ride quality on Highway 52.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
