MnDOT installs new pedestrian ramps on Highway 298, Highway 299 in Faribault
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists and pedestrians will experience minimal traffic and sidewalk delays along Highway 298 and Highway 299 in Faribault as crews replace several pedestrian ramps on various street corners, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Work began Tuesday, June 15, and is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
These new ramps are a part of MnDOT’s efforts to improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing state highways.
urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
