Culvert repairs require Highway 250 to close beginning June 21
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Crews will close Highway 250 during daytime working hours June 21-30 to replace six culverts, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Local traffic will be able to access Highway 250 during the repairs. Motorists should be prepared to stop for flaggers who will provide a map and detour directions.
Highway 250 detour route:
East on Highway 30, to south on Fillmore County Road 25 through Peterson and west on Highway 16 towards Lanesboro.
All work will take place between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Wednesday, June 30, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
