Westbound Interstate 90 lane on Mississippi River bridge reopens by Friday at noon
ROCHESTER, Minn. —The Interstate 90 Mississippi River bridge westbound right lane is scheduled to reopen by noon on Friday, June 11, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Westbound traffic had been reduced to a single lane since Monday, June 7, for maintenance crews to repair a concrete pothole on the bridge deck. This five-day lane closure was needed to allow the new concrete to cure and strengthen.
In addition, the 12-foot width restriction on westbound I-90 is no longer in effect.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
