Highway 52 pavement repair work scheduled in Rochester May 8
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists will experience lane closures on Highway 52 between 2nd Street Southwest and 85th Street Northwest on Saturday, May 8, as crews make pavement repairs, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Northbound and southbound traffic on Highway 52 will be reduced to a single lane from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday as crews make pavement improvements to sections of the roadway.
This work will create a smoother ride for motorists and is covered by the contractor warranty for the ROC 52 project, which was completed in 2005.
Pavement work will also take place May 8 on the northbound Highway 52 exit ramp to 16th Street Southwest. The ramp will remain open during this work.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
