Highway 58 bridge replacement in Zumbrota begins June 7
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 58 beginning Monday, June 7, as crews replace the bridge over the Zumbro River in Zumbrota, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Detour route:
Goodhue County Road 10 to Goodhue County Road 48 to Goodhue County Road 4 and back to Highway 58.
The new bridge will be wider than the current one and will include new sidewalks. The project is expected to be complete in September, weather permitting.
Minnow Construction, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $1.5 million project.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
