Update: Highway 52 ramp closure in Rochester extended through May 26
ROCHESTER, Minn. —The 6th Street Southwest to Highway 52 southbound ramp will close again Tuesday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 26 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. as crews continue making repairs to a retaining wall, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The ramp was originally scheduled to close for only one day.
Motorists should find alternate routes.
This retaining wall work is covered by the contractor warranty for the ROC 52 project, which was completed in 2005.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
