Single lane traffic on southbound Highway 61 begins May 12 in Red Wing
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists can expect single lane traffic on southbound Highway 61 near the Highway 19 intersection in Red Wing beginning Wednesday, May 12 at 7 a.m., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The left lane of southbound Highway 61 will close for approximately one half mile while the city of Red Wing completes an emergency sewer main repair.
Southbound Highway 61 is expected to be fully reopened by 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
