Public open house for Highway 14 construction in Rochester set for May 20
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Individuals interested in the Highway 14 beltline construction project in Rochester are invited to attend an open house on Thursday, May 20. The project is scheduled for construction in June 2010.
The open house, hosted by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 869 7th Avenue Southeast in Rochester. Community members can learn about the construction schedule of the Highway 14 beltline project and how traffic will be affected.
MnDOT and city of Rochester officials will be available to answer questions about the resurfacing on Highway 14 from Highway 52 to Marion Road.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
