Public open house for Highway 52 “Elk Run” interchange near Pine Island set for May 18
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Individuals interested in the Highway 52 interchange construction project near Pine Island are invited to attend an open house on Tuesday, May 18. The project is scheduled to begin construction in fall 2010.
The open house, hosted by the Minnesota Department of Transportation, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Talon Events Center, 322 South Main Street, in Pine Island.
MnDOT officials will be available to answer questions about the interchange project and will provide an overview of the right of way acquisition process for affected property owners.
The MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
