Bridge to close over Interstate 90 in Austin April 26
ROCHESTER, Minn. —The 28th Street Bridge over I- 90 in Austin will close Monday, April 26, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Motorists should follow the posted detour.
The closure is necessary while MnDOT crews install a new concrete bridge deck and repair the joints and railings.
The bridge will reopen Memorial Day weekend, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
