DETOUR CORRECTION: Highway 14 east of Owatonna to close for railroad work April 14
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Motorists will encounter a detour on Highway 14 east of Owatonna on Wednesday, April 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., as Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad crews deliver rail to prepare for future track replacement work, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
DM&E crews will unload new rail at the Highway 14 and 54th Avenue Southeast crossing. Track replacement work will begin at the end of June.
Detour:
From Highway 14, take Steele County Road 43 to Steele County Road 180, then back to
Highway 14.
