Highway 52 reduced to single lane between 2nd Street and 55th Street in Rochester Nov. 3
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists will experience single-lane traffic on both northbound and southbound Highway 52 between 2nd Street and 55th Street in Rochester on Wednesday, Nov. 3, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Crews will be conducting maintenance work at various locations on Highway 52, reducing the highway to a single lane beginning at 8 p.m., Nov. 3. As the maintenance work locations move, Highway 52 in the opposite direction will then be reduced to a single lane until approximately 6 a.m., Nov. 4, weather permitting. Motorists traveling on Highway 52 in Rochester should expect delays and use alternate routes.
The maintenance work is part of the warranty work for the ROC 52 project, which was completed in 2005.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
