Culvert work to close lane on Highway 61 south of Lake City Nov. 29
Damages sustained during September 2010 floods
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a lane closure and flaggers on Highway 61 approximately 10 miles south of Lake City on Monday, Nov. 29, as crews repair a culvert damaged during the Sept. 22-23 floods.
The Highway 61 lane closure is necessary for culvert grouting work and is expected to last one working day (7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).
Crews have been repairing the culvert for approximately two weeks. All repair work will be completed by early-December, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
